About Me

I am a PhD student in the Department of Combinatorics and Optimization at the University of Waterloo under the supervision of Sophie Spirkl. I expect to graduate in the spring of 2027 and will be looking for a postdoc position starting the summer or fall of 2027. My main research interests are structural graph theory, graph colouring, and graph algorithms. Recently, I have been especially interested in the interplay between $\chi$-boundedness and graph operations, as well as directed variants of $\chi$-boundedness. Outside of academics, I enjoy hiking and backpacking, the card game Set, and the sport of fencing. I am currently on the University of Waterloo's men's foil varsity team.
